TVP speaks out on Małgorzata Tomaszewska's case. What's next for the journalist's job at TVP?

A year ago, Małgorzata Tomaszewska lost her job at TVP. Now the station has spoken out about the presenter.

As the “RMF24” portal reminds us, Małgorzata Tomaszewska disappeared from TVP a year ago. The presenter can no longer be seen on “Pytanie na śniadanie” or in any other program on Telewizja Polska. After such a long time, an unexpected statement appeared regarding the journalist. What did it say?

She lost her job at “Pytanie na śniadanie”

Małgorzata Tomaszewska co-hosted “Pytanie na śniadanie” with Aleksander Sikora. At the beginning of last year, the presenters said goodbye to their jobs, as did Katarzyna Cichopek and Maciej Kurzajewski. The breakfast show's dismissal coincided with the end of her pregnancy.

Just a few months after the birth of her daughter, the journalist admitted that she would like to return to television. Some time ago, rumors appeared in the media that, like Sikora, Tomaszewska might appear in “hello, this is Polsat”. However, they have not yet been officially confirmed.

Many hope that Tomaszewska will return to TVP. Will there still be a place for Tomaszewska at the public broadcaster??

Official statement from TVP regarding Tomaszewska

On Friday, January 10, 2025, the industry website Press published an official statement issued by Telewizja Polska regarding further cooperation with Tomaszewska.

The statement indicated that Tomaszewska was no longer associated with Telewizja Polska. The company's press office reported that Tomaszewska was no longer cooperating with TVP. Moreover, it was emphasized that “she was never its employee.”

Tomaszewska could be seen on TVP since 2018. She hosted not only “Pytanie na śniadanie” but also other programs broadcast on the station, including “The Voice of Poland”, “The Voice Senior” and “Dance Dance Dance”.
