TVP has made a decision regarding the program “Wonderful Years”. What's next for Barbara Kurdej-Szatan

TVP has made a decision regarding the program “Wonderful Years”. Will Barbara Kurdej-Szatan keep her job?

As the portal “Pomponik” reminds, Barbara Kurdej-Szatan made a spectacular comeback after the change of the management of Telewizja Polska. The actress received her own program and engagement in many different projects. The public broadcaster made a decision about the future of the show hosted by Kurdej-Szatan. For many viewers, such a decision was a huge surprise.

Barbara Kurdej-Szatan returns to TVP

After Barbara Kurdej-Szatan was fired from TVP by the station's former president Jacek Kurski, she had no business there for a long time. After the change of management to Woronicza, the actress returned with a bang, because she got her own show. “Cudowne lata” debuted on TVP2 on September 8.

On December 1, viewers had the opportunity to watch the last episode of the show. The show hosted by Barbara Kurdej-Szatan was not to everyone's taste and received very mixed reviews. In addition, the number of viewers was very uneven. As indicated by the portal “Wirtualne Media”, the average viewership was 599 thousand. viewers, although there were episodes in which the audience dropped below 500 thousand.

In the face of rather average viewing figures, many began to wonder whether TVP would decide to produce another season or try to fight for viewers with a different format. As reported by the “Presserwis” portal, Telewizja Polska has made a decision regarding “The Wonder Years”.

What's next for Barbara Kurdej-Szatan?

Although many people expected the station to abandon the format, TVP decided to keep it. The second season of the show hosted by Barbara Kurdej-Szatan will return to the spring schedule. The actress can therefore rest assured about her job, at least for now.

The good news for Kurdej-Szatan does not end there. We will also have the opportunity to see the actress in the production “Gingerbread Heart”. The co-producer of the film is Telewizja Polska.

Were you surprised by TVP's decision to keep “The Wonder Years” in the schedule?
