Tomasz Jakubiak was unable to hold back his tears of emotion. He thanked for the support in a special recording

Tomasz Jakubiak decided to thank everyone who got involved in helping him.

As the “Goniec” portal reminds us, Tomasz Jakubiak is fighting a rare cancer. Kucharz does not hide the fact that his situation is difficult, but he does not lose hope that he will be able to return to health and full strength. He is to be helped in this by expensive treatment, which will take place in Israel. Jakubiak posted a moving video on social media, in which he thanks everyone for their support.

An extraordinary dinner dedicated to Tomasz Jakubiak

On Sunday, December 1, a charity dinner dedicated to Tomasz Jakubiak took place at the restaurant at the Polsat Plus Arena Gdańsk Stadium. It was attended by 370 people who bought tickets to the event – it cost 499 PLN. All proceeds were donated to the treatment of the chef, who is struggling with cancer.

There was no shortage of well-known and beloved people among the participants. There was no shortage of moving moments. One of them was connecting with Tomasz Jakubiak, who, due to preparations for leaving for treatment, did not appear in person at the event.

The cook admitted that he was the organizer of similar charity dinners and did not hide the fact that he did not expect that one day the funds would be collected for him. Although he was moved, the cook managed to make a joke. He stated that his current condition did not allow him to hug all the participants, because it would end in him being hospitalized.

Jakubiak thanks you for giving him energy

Tomasz Jakubiak did not hide his gratitude to everyone who got involved in the campaign. “The energy you gave me is invaluable. Thanks to you, it will be easier for me to overcome this disease. I hope I will come back to you soon, to cook something for you again,” said the cook, unable to hold back his tears of emotion.

Tomasz Jakubiak flies to Israel on December 2, where he will continue his treatment. He himself, as well as all those who support him, hope that the therapy will bring positive results and help Jakubiak recover.
