This is what Chinese budget car brand Baojun Yunhai will look like

Baojun is a Chinese brand of budget cars created by the SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile JV. They published the first photos of their compact crossover Baojun Yunhai.

The new Baojun Yunhai is being developed with the participation of General Motors specialists, because the American concern is a co-owner of this brand together with the Chinese SAIC. This is reported by UkrAvtoprom.

Baojun Yunhai electric car is a streamlined compact crossover with a pronounced “nose”. It has smooth body shapes and arrow-shaped headlights. Wheels with a diameter of 17 and 18 inches will be offered as a choice.

The model will be available in electric (BEV) and plug-in hybrid versions (PHEV). Both versions will have a top speed of 170 km/h. Baojun Yunhai will have lidars and cameras, providing advanced driver assistance capabilities.

Baojun Yunhai Dimensions:

  • length – 4,541 mm;
  • width – 1,880 mm;
  • height – 1,608 mm;
  • wheelbase – 2,750 mm.

    The electric version is equipped with a 150 kW electric motor and a lithium-iron-phosphate battery from Jiangsu Zenergy Battery Technology.

    The PHEV version will to be equipped with a 1.5-liter atmospheric engine with a capacity of 106 hp, an electric motor and a lithium-iron-phosphate battery.

    The official launch of the model will take place in the III quarter. 2024 Baojun Yunhai is expected to export to foreign markets.
