How much pension does Katarzyna Dowbor receive from ZUS? The amount may surprise you.
According to the “Goniec” portal, Katarzyna Dowbor has been regularly paying contributions to the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) for over three decades. The journalist decided to retire at the age of 63, 3 years after reaching the statutory retirement age. The presenter shared her impressions after receiving her first benefit.
Katarzyna Dowbor has been present in the media for decades. First, she was associated with radio, then she moved to television. For thirty years, she was associated with Telewizja Polska. Her adventure with the station ended in 2013. That was when her cooperation with Polsat began, which was ended after a decade by Edward Miszczak's decision.
At the beginning of last year, Katarzyna Dowbor appeared on TVP again. Although the presenter is still professionally active, she also receives a pension, which she took at the age of 63. The amount of her pension was determined by the contributions that the public broadcaster paid to the presenter over 3 decades of her work.
Katarzyna Dowbor does not hide the fact that she is professionally active because she loves what she does. And while many artists complain that they have to work to make ends meet, in her case it is not so.
As indicated by “Super Express”, Katarzyna Dowbor cannot really complain about the amount of her benefit. The pension that the journalist receives reaches up to PLN 4,000. As she admitted in an interview with the daily, this amount satisfies her.
“I worked full-time for 30 years in a state-owned company, so I saved up contributions and have a pension. It may not be very high, but it is not very low either. I don't mind… I'm not complaining,” Dowbor assured in an interview with the daily.
