They arrived in Moldova for training US military

A C-17 aircraft of the North Carolina Air National Guard landed at the Chisinau airport with American servicemen on board to support the Peace Shield exercise.

This was reported by  the US Embassy in Moldova, writes “European Truth”.

Thirty-five servicemen from the North Carolina Guard and the US Air Force in Europe, in cooperation with the ministries of Moldova, will practice the response tactics necessary to guarantee the safety of the citizens of Moldova in the event emergencies.

In addition, this aircraft delivered medical equipment that will be delivered to the Ministry of Defense of Moldova as part of American assistance.

“The United States is proud of its cooperation with the government and people of Moldova in aspirations to create a democratic, prosperous and secure future”, – said in the message of the embassy.

Let us remind you that on May 13-14, the Moldovan and American military performed joint parachute jumps as part of the Swift Response exercise.

And in neighboring Romania, on May 13, large paratrooper exercises began, in which approximately two thousand military personnel from France, Germany, Romania, Spain, the USA and the Netherlands participate.
