The Ukrainian drone “Furia” withstood the impact of the Russian FPV drone

Ukrainian reconnaissance drone “Furia” became an example of reliability, having withstood the hit of the Russian FPV drone during combat operations.

The company- the manufacturer of these drones, “Athlon Avia”, said that as a result of the attack of the enemy's anti-aircraft drone, the Ukrainian aircraft received only minor damage. task.

This is the first recorded case when the Russian occupiers tried to shoot down a Ukrainian scout using an FPV drone, but the attempt turned out to be unsuccessful. Specialists quickly repaired the damage and the drone once again continued to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroy enemy forces.

The A1-SM Furia drone was developed by the Athlon Avia company back in 2014, and since then more than 100 complexes of various modifications.

“Fury” has a cruising speed of 65 km/h and can fly at a distance of up to 200 km which makes it a difficult target for interception using FPV drones.

In turn, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have been successfully and massively shooting down Russian reconnaissance drones with FPV drones for a long time.  Interception of reconnaissance drones with the help of other drones — this is a relatively new and promising direction in the development of air defense.
