The Telegram messenger is introducing a new feature

The Telegram messenger has released an update that introduces a new verification system from organizations. It will work together with the existing system.

Now any bot with an official verification checkmark can apply and after verification receive Verifier authority.

Owners of such bots will be able to provide other users/channels/bots with their own verification badges.

The new verification badges differ from the official checkmark and are placed before the profile name, not at the end.

It is noted that there are no centralized conditions for obtaining such verification, each organization has the right to act at its own discretion.

In addition to the badge, the profile description will contain detailed information about it and its source issuance.

The Telegram administration claims that the innovation should reduce the number of scammers and misinformation.
