New machines have replaced the previous version of Apache AH1, which has been in service since the early 2000s.

< P > AH-64E, also known as Apache Guardian, is the result of the modernization of AH-64D helicopters. This process included the installation of new fuselages, modern electronics, navigation systems, sensors and weapons, while maintaining some components of the previous models. AH-64E is distinguished by open architecture that allows you to easily integrate upgrade in the future.

< p >The key feature of AH-64E is the radar An/APG-78 Longbow, which allows you to identify and accompany numerous terrestrial and air goals at the same time. Powerful T700-GE-701D engines give the helicopter higher speed, maneuverability and ability to carry more weapons. The machine is equipped with a 30mm M230E1 automatic gun, controlled by AGM-114 hellfire missiles and 70 mm unmanaged shells.

< P > Helicopter is capable of acting both in ground operations and in maritime scenarios, in particular for damage to surface purposes. AH-64E is integrated into a network-centric battlefield & mdash; It can exchange data with other real -time platforms and control unmanned aerial vehicles, expanding the intelligence area and reducing the risk to the crew.

< P > The new version of Apache has already demonstrated its effectiveness in US combat operations in the Middle East, where it was used to support escorts, rapid response and observation. British versions used to be used in Afghanistan, Libya and other hot spots, confirming their reliability and combat efficiency.

< P > The completion of the supply of AH-64E means increased combat potential of the British army, providing it with the ability to act with high accuracy, speed and adaptability in modern conflicts. The United Kingdom joins more than 18 other countries using more than 1300 Apache helicopters, and with the updated fleet remains among the leading forces in the field of army aviation.
