The committee voted on the motion to impose such a penalty during Friday's session.
Let us recall that on Friday, Ziobro was supposed to be taken in for questioning by the police. The politician was arrested around 10:30 a.m., to which he was summoned. Ziobro was staying at the Republika Television station at the time. The committee members closed the meeting before the politician was brought in by the committee.

Yes Szymon Hołownia will vote on Zbigniew Ziobro's immunity
Szymon Hołownia announced that he intends to vote to strip Zbigniew Ziobro of his immunity Ziobro. The leader of Poland 2050 emphasized that “you cannot mock the state”.
„You cannot turn your back on law and justice in such an impudent way, and that too as a former minister of justice. Every normal citizen in the country would have no choice and would probably have the decency to simply fulfill their legal obligation– added the Marshal of the Sejm.
Jednoczenie Hołownia added that in his opinion the commission should have waited for the police to bring Zbigniew Ziobro. As he emphasized, this would definitely speed up the progress of the case, which in his opinion is the main goal of the commission.
He added that during the hearing, members of the Pegasus commission would have several hours to show how Ziobro broke the law, but they themselves waived this right. “The state used cyber weapons against its own citizens,” Hołownia added.
