It is worth noting that the segment of smartphones costing less than $150 may experience a decrease of 4%, while models in the range of $150 and up to $249 is expected to increase sales by 11%.
The popularity of these models is especially actively growing in the regions of Latin America, the Caribbean, India, Africa and the Middle East.
Despite this, the average price segment from $250 to $599 will grow by only 2%, while models of the premium segment from $600 to $799 will increase sales by 17%.
This growth will be driven in particular by the release of new smartphones with flexible displays and advanced artificial intelligence functions intelligence.
In the future, according to analysts, the smartphone market will continue to grow by several percent annually.
