The sequel to this cult franchise confirmed, two huge stars in the cast

The Seventh Art has its share of cult franchises, some of which have been ruined by failed sequels. From Star Wars to Pirates of the Caribbean, via James Bond, John Wick, Mad Max and even Indiana Jones, to name just a handful, there are so many that we could not possibly have them all in mind. One of them will return for a fifth installment, in which two of the original actors will officially be in the cast!

George Clooney & Brad Pitt, the flamboyant duo is back

George Clooney and Brad Pitt have known each other for a long time. At 63 and 60 years old respectively, these stars are among the sure values of American cinema. Crowned with a success that has never waned over the years, They are able to carry, thanks to their names alone, projects that would not see the light of day without them. Unsurprisingly, their careers have crossed paths on many occasions. The friendship between these two Hollywood giants is punctuated by films such as the wacky comedy by Joel and Ethan Coen, Burn After Reading, released in 2008, and this September 27, they will be on the bill for Wolf, an original thriller from Jon Watts for Apple TV+. But also, and above all, they turned together the Ocean's  film series!

Between 2001 and 2007, George Clooney and Brad Pitt played Danny Ocean and Rusty Ryan, two of the main characters of the saga. And according to our colleagues at Deadline, they will be back in the next installment of the franchise, Ocean's 14, which, after the departure of Steven Soderbergh, should be directed by Edward Berger. This filmmaker signed the remarkable Agrave The West, nothing new for Netflix last year, which received 4 Oscars in 2023 (Best Sets and Art Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Film Music, Best International Film). After the failure of the female version Ocean's 8,we hope for a comeback in style.

A project that promises to be exciting, both in front of and behind the camera!
