Russians promise foreigners “adventures in distant Europe” and money. However, upon arrival in the Russian Federation, people are forced to collect drones under video surveillance.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security (SPRAVDI).

For according to the Center, Russia has long since started recruiting foreigners and students for the new factory in Alabuz (Tatarstan). Girls aged 18-22 from Africa, Asia and Latin America are said to be in particular demand.

“Ads on social networks promised them a free plane ticket, money and an “adventure in faraway Europe”. For this, they only need to pass a computer game and a test of knowledge of the Russian language with 100 words. And upon arrival, they learned that they would collect drones to kill Ukrainians,” SPRAVDI reported.

At the same time, the Center also emphasized that foreigners are constantly monitored, both at work and in the dormitory, not fulfilling promises about salary, because they were promised 700 dollars, but in reality they are paid only 500.

“Russia's actions potentially meet the criteria of human trafficking, if the recruitment is fraudulent, and the goal is exploitation,” said Ravina Shamdasani, the representative of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.
