The Paper: The Office spin-off presents its 3 new actors

It's hard to miss the exceptional The Office and its 9 seasons broadcast between 2005 and 2019. Cringe, yes, but unforgettable moments throughout the evolution of the series. And since all good things have their time, the American version of The Office is not coming back. On the other hand, a spin-off is coming soon. And three new faces have been announced for its casting.

And while this new series, called The Paper, will have the difficult task of following this cult work and its colorful characters, here is this new mockumentary is getting new faces. In preparation for some time now, this series for Peacock is improving its casting with the arrivals of Chelsea Frei (Poker Face), Melvin Gregg (American Vandal) and Ramona Young (Santa Clarita Diet).

Three perfect actors to join a cast like that of The Paper, now it remains to be seen what this series based in the same universe as The Office will be worth. “The documentary team that immortalized the Dunder Mifflin branch in Scranton is looking for a new subject when they discover a historic Midwestern newspaper that is in danger of disappearing and the publisher who is trying to revive it with volunteer reporters.” we learn in particular from the synopsis of the series. 

Although The Paper moves away from The Office by not recalling the leading actors who made it a success, the series retains Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant as executive producers, while Greg Daniels, producer of The Office, will serve as co-showrunner, alongside Michael Koman.So it's a safe bet that The Paper is trying to keep a similar tone to that of its predecessor while creating its own identity.

Unfortunately for the most curious, information about The Paper remains scant. Casting is in full swing and production has reportedly not yet started.
