All the dead were members of the Hezbollah movement. These explosions also caused numerous injuries — about 2,750 people were injured, including many seriously.

According to reports, Israel may be behind the explosions. This provoked a sharp reaction from Hezbollah, which blamed Israel for the attacks and vowed to take revenge.
