Production of iPhone 16 smartphones has started in Brazil

Foxconn's factory in Jundia, São Paulo, is responsible for manufacturing the base version of the iPhone 16. However, the more expensive models will still be imported from China.

This step will allow Apple not only to reduce dependence on Chinese production, but also to speed up the supply of smartphones to Brazil. Previously, it took almost a month to deliver new iPhone models to the country. Now the iPhone 16 will arrive in Brazil just a week after the launch in the US.
