A few days ago, Electronic Arts restructured BioWare, stating that many developers were transferred to other studios while the core team continues to work on the new Mass Effect.
Now it has become known that many developers have simply been fired. The cuts included veterans of the studio, such as screenwriter Trick Weeks, who worked on all parts of Mass Effect and Dragon Age, and in 2015 became the head writer of DA, wrote that he was looking for a new position after 20 years at BioWare.
The same fate befell Trick's wife, Karen Weeks, who was the editor-in-chief of the Dragon Age series and worked on Mass Effect 2, 3 and Andromeda.
