The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine codified and allowed for use in the troops the high-speed armored excavator-loader JCB HMEE. This is one of the most popular excavators of many armies around the world.
Excavator JCB HMEE (from the English High Mobility Engineer Excavator – highly mobile engineering excavator) – armored special vehicle designed to perform a wide range of tasks.
– JCB HMEE excavators have proven themselves well when performing special work in difficult conditions and are in service with many advanced armies of the world, – noted Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Dmytro Klimenkov.
JCB HMEE weighs about 16 tons. It develops speeds of up to 100 km/h, provides full crew protection, and is compatible with STANAG standards for protection against damage. Its all-wheel drive systems, four-wheel drive, and differential locks provide high off-road performance. Specially reinforced for military needs, the suspension and brakes ensure controlled and safe operation.
The armored excavator's cab is ergonomically designed for maximum operator productivity and is equipped with air conditioning.
