The Ministry of Justice filed a lawsuit to seize the assets of propagandist Vyshynskyi to the state revenue.

The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine has filed a lawsuit to impose sanctions in the form of seizing assets of pro-Russian propagandist Kyrylo Vyshinsky.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Justice.

«On January 27, 2025, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine filed a lawsuit with the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court to apply the sanction provided for by paragraph 1-1 of part one of Article 4 of the Law of Ukraine «On Sanctions» to Kyrylo Vyshinsky, a former Ukrainian journalist who received Russian citizenship and became a mouthpiece for Kremlin propaganda», the ministry said.

The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine has declared assets directly owned by Vyshinsky subject to seizure, namely: 2 real estate properties, 2 vehicles, and his shares in the authorized capital of LLC «Interselect» and LLC «Novostkom Expert».

«Previously, the court satisfied similar claims by the Ministry of Justice regarding the assets of other propagandists, such as Yuriy Kot, Dmitry Kiselyov, and Artemy Lebedev. Their property was confiscated as state revenue. Everyone who supports the aggressor state and promotes its interests must bear responsibility for it,» the institution stated.

As reported, Vyshinsky headed «RIA Novosti-Ukraine», distributing materials in support of the annexation of Crimea and the illegal formations «DPR» and «LPR». Currently, he is the executive director of the Russian media company «Russia Today» and publicly justifies the Russian Federation's aggression against Ukraine.
