On Friday, June 7, the Franco-German arms concern KNDS announced the creation of a subsidiary in Ukraine. The company will produce military equipment and ammunition on Ukrainian territory.

KNDS is one of the main European players in field of ground weapons. The group produces artillery systems, battle tanks, as well as CAESAR guns, which France supplies to Kyiv.

On June 7, KNDS and the Ukrainian company ENMEK signed two declarations of intent, one of which referred to the creation of a maintenance center for Caesar self-propelled guns. The second was about 3D printing of spare parts.
Also, a contract was formalized to transfer to Ukraine the licensed production of 155 mm projectiles.
