The man wanted to buy a tractor, but instead lost almost 500 thousand hryvnias

A 22-year-old resident of the Otyniyska community tried to buy a tractor, but lost 470 thousand hryvnias. The regional police department reported this.

The man came across a message about the sale of special equipment at a bargain price. In correspondence, the seller convinced him to make an advance payment, due to the fact that the tractor is located in a front-line area. The man transferred the money.

“However, the next day the fraudster convinced the buyer that there were problems with the house, so it was necessary to transfer another part of the money. So, the victim fulfilled the conditions of the fraudster, and later, communication with him was lost”, – the message says.

The man never received the promised equipment.  Investigators have launched an investigation into the fraud.
