In Frankivsk, a 63-year-old man wanted to buy a car via the Internet, but came across fraudsters. He saw an advertisement for the sale of a Volkswagen car, contacted the buyer and sent him a deposit of almost 172,000 hryvnias. This is reported by the regional police.
“After receiving the money, the pseudo seller stopped communicating. Then, the man from Frank realized that he had been tricked”,– the message says.
On the fact of fraud, the police started criminal proceedings. The people of Prykarpattia are urged not to send money to strangers.
