The Lviv chess player gave the fee for the victory in the tournament to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Martyn Kravtsiv from Lviv received 20,000 hryvnias for winning the international charity chess tournament. The grandmaster donated these funds to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This noble deed of the athlete was reported to the Sports Department of Lviv.

Martyn Kravtsiv became the winner of the tournament in memory of the Heroes of the Russian-Ukrainian War “Memorial of Chess Warriors”. For the victory in the tournament, the chess player received 20,000 hryvnias.

On March 23, the organizers of the tournament released information that Martyn immediately gave the entire prize for the victory to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

, that the International Charity Chess Tournament in Memory of the Heroes of the Russian-Ukrainian War “Memorial Chess Warriors” was started to honor 18 Ukrainian chess players who died in the war. It was held in Vynnyky on March 15.

About 300 athletes took part in the tournament. Charitable tournament contributions were also directed to help the Armed Forces.
