The Lord of the Rings: The Rohittim War: the film gets a magnificent poster

The Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim has just revealed itself even more by publishing a superb poster. The animated prequel to Peter Jackson's license is becoming a little more precise.

What is The Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim?

While the series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is currently a hit on Amazon Prime Video, the universe of Tolkienwill soon be making its comeback on the big screen. In fact, Warner has just produced an animated film based on this cult heroic fantasy universe. Entitled The Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim, it is a feature-length animated film directed by Kenji Kamiyama, a Japanese filmmaker who has directed episodes of Blade Runner – Black Lotus, Star Wars: Visions, Ultraman and Ghost in the Shell SAX_2045.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rohirrim Wartakes place 183 years before the Lord of the Rings trilogy. The story will explore the history of the House of Helm Hammerhand, King of Rohan. They will have to face the sudden attack of Wulf, a vengeful and cruel lord. In this desperate struggle, Hera, Helm's daughter, must gather the courage to lead the resistance against an enemy determined to destroy her people.

A stunning new poster

Produced by Warner Bros, The Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrimhas already graced us with a superb trailer. Images that have revealed a magnificent hybrid animation, between Japanese influences and influences from more traditional American studios. On the voice casting side, the film will bring together in particular Brian Cox who will dub Hammerhand, Gaia Wise in the role of the girl Hera and Luke Pasqualino as Wulf. The feature film is expected on December 11 in our dark rooms. In the meantime, we leave you with this superb poster:
