The seventh National Award of Film Critics “Kinokolo” announced this year's laureates on the opening day of the “Kyiv Critic's Week” film festival. This was reported by Suspilne Kultura.

Details about the winners:

• The film “Grey Bees” was recognized as the best full-length feature film, and its creator Dmytro Moiseev – the best director. The actor of the main role in the film, Viktor Zhdanov, also won an award in the “Best Actor” category.
• The best actress was Olena Uzlyuk, who starred in the film “Lessons of Tolerance”.
• The film “Fragments of Ice” directed by Maria Stoyanova won awards in two categories – “Best full-length documentary” and “Opening of the year”.
• The film “Where Russia Ends” directed by Oleksiy Radinsky became the best short documentary film, and the film “Additional Scenes” directed by Roman Himey and Malashchuk yokes – the best short feature film.
• In the “Best animated film” category, the film “I died in Irpen” by director Anastasia Falileeva won.
• The award in the category “Best screenplay” was awarded to the film “Editorial”. The authors of the script are Alla Tyutyunnyk, Roman Bondarchuk and Daria Averchenko.
• In addition, the award “For Achievements”won by cultural manager and writer Olga Birzul for the book “Your book about cinema”.

National Film Critics Award “Kinokol” is an annual award, established in 2018, which recognizes the achievements of Ukrainian cinematography and film industry figures over the past year on behalf of the community of film critics of Ukraine. The winners are determined by the Committee of the National Award of Film Critics, which currently has 61 members.
