The iPhone 17 smartphone will not receive a reduced Dynamic Island

TFI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that future iPhone 17 series smartphones will not receive a reduced Dynamic Island. The size of the notch, first introduced in 2022, will remain the same for the entire line.
This statement contradicts the forecasts of analyst Jeff Pu, who previously reported on the possible narrowing of the Dynamic Island in the iPhone 17 due to the introduction of a “metalens” for the operation of the Face ID sensor. Most likely, Apple was not satisfied with the results of the prototypes, so it was decided to postpone this decision.
The entire iPhone 17 series is expected to receive a large-scale redesign. Most likely, their presentation will take place in September.
