Photo: Rocket launch “Palestine” from rebel-controlled territory in Yemen
Yemen's Houthis have unveiled a new solid-fuel missile in their arsenal, reminiscent of a missile previously shown by Iran that Tehran says can reach hypersonic speed.
On Monday, rebels fired a new Palestine missile at an Israeli port. with a warhead with a pattern of a Palestinian headscarf, reports Associated Press.
The attack set off sirens, but no one was injured.
The Houthis described the missile as a “locally produced” weapon, although they say they have similar production power in Yemen, nothing is known.
According to some estimates, Iran is arming the Houthis, and the missile components are similar to the Iranian Fattah hypersonic missile.
