The girl pretended to be a soldier from the Lviv brigade and swindled volunteers of over 100 thousand

A young girl, pretending to be a soldier of the 80th separate airborne assault brigade, together with an accomplice, appropriated volunteer funds collected for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This was reported by the commander of the fifth company of the 80th ODShBr Andriy Sushko.

In November 2024, the girl, introducing herself as Diana Andrusiv, turned to volunteer Tetyana Griza with a request to help raise funds for the purchase of electronic warfare (EW) equipment. The volunteer organized the collection and transferred UAH 112.5 thousand to the card of Danylo Mashivsky, who later provided an alleged report on the purchase of equipment. However, the document turned out to be only an invoice for payment, not confirmation of the purchase.

Later, Diana Andrusiv turned to the volunteer again with a request for help, but this collection was noticed by real servicemen of the 80th brigade. After the check, it became known that neither Diana Andrusiv nor Danylo Mashivskyi had ever served in the 80th ODShBr, and no equipment for the unit had been received.

When Tetyana Griza asked Diana for documents confirming her military service and began to ask questions about the money spent, the pseudo-military woman became indignant and disappeared from contact. Later, the company commander Andriy Sushko was contacted by the girl's mother – Lyudmila Komarnytska, who tried to return the money to avoid publicity, and after being refused – began to threaten.

Tetyana Griza has already filed a complaint with the police, accusing the young people of embezzling 112 thousand UAH. Another 61 thousand UAH collected during the second collection, the volunteer transferred to the official account of the 80th brigade.

Currently, law enforcement officers must investigate the case and establish all the circumstances of the fraud.
