Yesterday, March 9, 2024, on the birthday of Taras Shevchenko, British Ambassador to Ukraine Martin Harris shot a powerful video in the city of Kanev, where the great Ukrainian poet is buried.
In it, he honored the memory of Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko, reciting one of his famous poems. The video was posted on the Facebook page of the Embassy of Great Britain in Ukraine.
In his video, Martin Harris read the poem “Roaring and moaning the Dnieper is wide” on the bank of the Dnieper in Kanev, where the grave of Taras Shevchenko is located.
