The Bluesky social network already has over 24 million users

Growing frustration with Twitter, which was renamed X, is forcing users to look for alternative platforms for short posts. One of X's competitors is the Bluesky service, which is gradually gaining popularity, and its audience recently exceeded 24 million users. The growth in the number of users of this platform can be tracked on Jaz's Bluesky tracker. It reports that Bluesky has already published over 700 million posts and received 3.1 billion likes.
A few days ago, US Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez became the first user to gain over 1 million followers (not counting Bluesky's own account).

More and more people are switching to Bluesky — among them are writer Stephen King, director Guillermo del Toro, journalists Rachel Maddow and Don Lemon, and the list continues to grow.
