The Big Bang Theory: the spin-off confirms the return of these 3 characters

Even though The Big Bang Theory ended in 2019, its universe continues to expand. After Young Sheldon and Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage, The Big Bang Theory could return to our screens. Another spin-off is reportedly in the works, with a cast that continues to grow. 3 new characters have just been confirmed, fans of the original series will have a smile on their faces.

3 actors confirmed for the spin-off of The Big Bang Theory

Never two without three, a proverb that is confirmed with the possible arrival of a third spin-off for The Big Bang Theory. After Young Sheldon, a spin-off centered on the youth of Sheldon Cooper, and Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage, which focuses on George Marshall “Georgie” Cooper Jr. and Amanda “Mandy” Elizabeth McAllister,Sheldon's older brother and his girlfriend, the universe imagined by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady could return at the end of a third spin-off. This time, it's really about the characters from The Big Bang Theory must continue their lives, even if nothing is confirmed yet.

And for good reason, the series has not yet received the green light. Currently titled “Big Bang Theory Max”, a temporary title, as you might expect, the series will feature Brian Posehn, Lauren Lapkus and Kevin Sussman in the main roles, actors who will all reprise their characters from the original series.Series co-creator Chuck Lorre is reportedly serving as an executive producer. If you can't put a name to a face, Sussman played Stuart Bloom, the shy and socially awkward comic book store owner.

It was towards the end of the series that he met the character of Lapkus, a certain Denise, who would become the assistant manager of the store. In this series, the two moved in together and fell in love. As for Posehn, he played the gigantic geologist Bert Kibbler, with a dubious sense of humor but a huge heart. Bert eventually developed a crush on Amy's character (Mayim Bialik), interacting regularly with the main characters of The Big Bang Theory.

Unlike other spin-offs, “Big Bang Theory Max” will be a sequel to The Big Bang Theory, taking place in the future of the popular series. Regardless, nothing has been confirmed yet. So it is possible that this series will never see the light of day.
