There's no stopping Elon Musk! The South African billionaire who heads SpaceX, X and Tesla has just unveiled futuristic taxis last night. Named Cybercab, this vehicle is 100% autonomous and has no steering wheel or pedals.
Elon Musk's fans have been waiting since 2016 to discover these vehicles capable of driving in total autonomy that the businessman had promised. Finally, it was necessary to be patient because It was only last night that the Tesla boss unveiled his Cybercab on the Internet: a futuristic taxi that is 100% autonomous and that moves without having to use a steering wheel or pedals.
This vehicle will be able to move without having a driver because Its technology will be based on artificial intelligence and cameras. Its production should begin in 2026 and Elon Musk has announced that this Cybercab should be marketed under the $30,000 mark. Its creator has highlighted its estimated consumption of 20 cents per mile (1.6 km) in electricity. However, the vehicle will not be equipped with an electrical outlet. It will be recharged by induction. Note that 50 prototypes have already been manufactured and Musk has promised that his Cybercabs will be available next year in Texas and California.
