Technical specifications of India's Pralay long-range ballistic missiles revealed

India plans to deploy new launchers for the «Pralay» ballistic missiles at strategically important positions near the borders with China and Pakistan. The move is part of the country's efforts to strengthen its defense capabilities and respond to potential threats, Army Recognition reports.

The «Pralay» system consists of two short-range ballistic missiles capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 500 km. The missiles are equipped with a modern guidance system and can carry both conventional and high-precision warheads. Thanks to the mobile launcher, the system can be quickly deployed in difficult conditions and provide operational flexibility.

India sees this project as a key element of its strategy, especially in the context of tense relations with neighboring states. According to representatives of the Ministry of Defense, the deployment of «Pralay» will increase the level of deterrence and allow a faster response to any military challenges.

This step also demonstrates India's aspiration for technological autonomy. «Pralay» is a product of the Indian defense complex and reflects the successes of the local defense industry in creating modern missile systems.

The deployment of the new system is planned for the coming months.
