Student set fire to a serviceman's car at the request of Internet curators from the Russian Federation

Law enforcement officers detained an 18-year-old student from one of the educational institutions in Zhytomyr on suspicion of carrying out an order from Russian special services.

As reported by the National Police of Ukraine, on February 6, a report was received about a car on fire near a multi-storey residential building in the central part of the populated paragraph.

The damaged Nissan X-Trail belonged to a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the circumstances indicated deliberate arson. The suspect, an 18-year-old city resident, a student at one of the local educational institutions, was found by police at his place of study

The detainee claims that he found a “vacancy” on Telegram, according to which he had to set fire to a serviceman's car for a reward.

He used a flammable substance, set fire to the vehicle, and sent a video recording of his actions to the “curator”

Now, according to the materials of the criminal proceedings, the student may be sent to prison for violating Part 1 of Article 114-1 of the Criminal Code.
