Steam: This ultra-violent post-apocalyptic co-op PC game is finally free

Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, on PC, it is possible to play all year round without spending a cent. And that's without counting on the free-to-play games that are proliferating. Paid since then, this ultra violent post-apo rogue-lite was finally made free to everyone's surprise on September 2nd. No announcement in the game's news feed, nothing on X or Reddit, the duo behind the small studio Dark Blue Games seems to be ready to turn the page on their only title present on Steam.

In Infected Shelter, you play a group of survivors in a post-apocalyptic world. “One fateful morning, you wake up to find that the shelter has been attacked and your family has been kidnapped for unknown reasons.Leaving your shelter, you emerge into the harsh infected land and begin searching for the kidnappers and the truth behind the events. Your path leads you to through randomly generated post-apocalyptic areas controlled by different enemy factions with brutal leaders, and shelters occupied by infected creatures.” explains the game's Steam page.
