The information about the death of the outstanding artist was provided by the weekly “Polityka”. “For decades, he furnished our collective imagination and shaped our sense of humor” – it was written in the moving entry.

In recent years, we have not had many opportunities to see Stanisław Tym. The actor has been struggling with health problems, which have caused him to not appear in public very often.

The last time we had the opportunity to see him was in March of this year. That was when he appeared at the premiere of the play “Ciemny grylaż” at Krystyna Janda's Och-Teatr. The actor moved with difficulty, supporting himself with a special walker. The audience also had the opportunity to hear his special speech.

His sense of humor never left him

As reported by the portal “Super Express”, when he met with his colleagues from the industry backstage, his legendary sense of humor was evident. The tabloid reports that when Cezary Żak, who was directing the play, sat on Tym's walker, Tym began to wheel him around.

Stanisław Tym was not only an actor, but also a renowned columnist. His columns appeared in the daily “Rzeczpospolita”, as well as in the weeklies “Polityka” and “Wprost”. Last year, the actor buried his wife Anna Kokozow-Tym.
