South Korea conducted training launches of Taurus cruise missiles for the first time in seven years

The South Korean Air Force, against the background of the constant nuclear and missile threats of North Korea, conducted the first military exercises with combat launches of cruise missiles in seven years long-range Taurus.

Taurus launches were carried out on October 8 and 10 from F-15K fighters.

According to the South Korean Air Force, the missiles flew 400 kilometers and successfully hit predetermined targets in the Yellow Sea.

South Korea last launched a Taurus in 2017 in response to the sixth North Korea's nuclear test.

It is noted that if this cruise missile, whose flight speed reaches 1,163 km/h, is launched from an area near Seoul, it is capable of hitting any important facilities throughout North Korea within 15 minutes with an accuracy of 3 meters.
