Sherlock: These statements will delight fans of the series

The Sherlockseries, this excellent adaptation of the literary work of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, has a large number of fans around the world, and recent statements should delight fans of the most famous detective in English literature.

Debuting in 2010, this detective drama series transposes the adventures of Sherlock Holmes and his faithful companion Dr. John Watson to the present day. While the wait between each new season has lengthened over time until the fourth season in 2017, that is, 7 years after the show began, the future of the series has always been uncertain and while a season five has been mentioned on numerous occasions, it has still not had any up-to-date echoes in our television stations. However, recent statements could well speed things up. Indeed, during the recent Amazon Prime Video Trailblazers event organized in London, the producer of the series Sue Vertue gave an interview to our colleagues at Deadline and spoke about the future of Sherlock:

We love this show and there is a future for it. Someday. Maybe. If everyone is up for it.

I still have the sets in storage somewhere, but to be honest with you, they are probably rotting. It's just a matter of getting everyone together and making the actors want to come back.

The producer therefore seems totally excited about the idea of ​​resuming Sherlock and this could well accelerate the resumption of this fabulous series. The main problem today being the schedule of the main actors, it remains to be seen if a phone call from Sue Vertue could convince them to come back.
