The first attack occurred on the night of December 7. At about 2:25, the attacker set fire to the door of a post office in the Nemyshlyanskyi district, and less than an hour later – he tried to set fire to a utility company. However, during the second crime, he was noticed and detained by the police.

The money for the “work” was deposited into the bank card of his fiancée, who was unaware of the man's criminal activities. He reacted aggressively to her questions about the origin of the funds and his night walks.

Currently, the prosecutor's office is seeking to have the suspect placed in custody as a preventive measure. The police are also checking his involvement in other arsons, including military equipment.
