On the eve of the quick release of the first smart ring Samsung Galaxy Ring, details of the cost of the device began to appear on the network.
According to insider Yogesh Brar, the engagement ring itself will cost from $300 to $350, but the matter will not be limited to a one-time purchase. He notes that Samsung wants to hook people into a monthly subscription costing $10 or less.
It is worth noting that a similar approach is practiced by the creators of smart rings Oura Ring Gen 3 — they sell devices for $299-$349, but access to the vast majority of features is available with a subscription for $5.99/month or $69.99/year.
Samsung is expected to introduce the Galaxy Ring alongside the foldable Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 in early July.
