Samsung introduced its new QD-OLED, Neo QLED, The Frame, and The Frame Pro TV lines at CES 2025. The company also announced Samsung Vision AI – a set of AI-powered features. The innovative technology will provide users with information about the content they are watching, including data about actors, locations, and objects.
Samsung has confirmed its collaboration with Microsoft (Copilot) and Google to develop Vision AI. According to South Korean publication Maeil Kyungjae, the company is also actively collaborating with OpenAI. The partnership involves the use of GPT, DALL-E, Whisper and o1 technologies.
Thanks to this collaboration, features such as personalized recommendations, chatbot and simultaneous translation will become available. For example, Vision AI will be able to suggest thriller films similar to those that the user has watched before.
The system will also answer questions about the plot or actors without the need to use a smartphone. This will significantly improve the experience of watching TV shows, movies and series.
According to SamMobile, the new features will make viewing content on Samsung TVs even more exciting and convenient, strengthening the company's leading position in the market.
