The Samsung company presented budget smartphone Galaxy A16 5G

Samsung introduced the Galaxy A16 5G smartphone, the main feature of which was a record period of support for the operating system.

The company promised to release Android and security system updates for six years , that is, until 2030.

The European version of the smartphone is powered by an Exynos 1330 processor, but in countries like India and Thailand, it will most likely be equipped with the Dimensity 6300. The device 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of built-in memory, there is also support for microSD cards up to 1.5 TB.

Galaxy A16 5G is equipped with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with a separate with FHD+ capability and a 90 Hz refresh rate. On the back, it has a triple camera with a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The front camera has a resolution of 13 MP.

The novelty is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 25-watt charging and is protected against moisture and dust according to the IP54 standard. The power button located on the side also acts as a fingerprint sensor. The thickness of the smartphone – 7.9 mm.

Galaxy A16 5G is available in navy blue, turquoise, gold and silver. The price of the device is 249 euros.
