As a result of the accident of oil tankers off the coast of Crimea, beaches in Russia have received significant pollution. Satellite images have now appeared. This reports“Radio Liberty”.
The publication showed satellite images of beaches in Anapa and Vityazevo. For comparison, pictures taken in January 2024 and December 20, 2024 were shown.
The photo shows fuel oil stains and bags in which the remains of oil waste are collected. According to the publication, the fuel oil manages to seep through the plastic bags back into the sand because the bags are not removed in time.
Earlier it was noted that the area of fuel oil contamination in the Kuban after the accident of two tankers in the Kerch Strait increased to 54 kilometers.
