Russia intends to recruit 225 thousand contract soldiers into the army annually, – TsPD

The Russian Federation wants to annually draft at least 225 thousand contract soldiers into the Russian army. The Kremlin has such plans for the next three years.

This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation (TsPD) Andrei Kovalenko.

“According to experts, the Russian authorities plan to recruit at least 225 thousand contract soldiers into the Russian army annually in the next three years. “The budget funds for one-time payments are allocated until 2027,” Kovalenko said.

He also noted that this indicator better reflects the Russian Federation's intentions not to conduct mobilization, but to maintain capabilities until war.
