Meat roll is an ideal dish for the festive table. After all, all members of the family will definitely like it.

Ukrainian chef and confectioner Liza Glinska decided to share a new recipe with her subscribers. She told how to prepare a meat roll.

This dish is suitable for a festive table or just for every day.

  • 2.5-3 kg of pork belly
  • 1 head of garlic
  • red chili pepper (dried)
  • 4th century l. refined sunflower oil “Traditional Oil”
  • salt
  • ground black pepper

Method of preparation:

1. Choose a rectangular piece of pork breast with clean skin on the market. Wash, dry, cut lengthwise without cutting completely (like a book).

2. Cover the part without the skin with cling film and beat well with a hammer.

3. Salt well on all sides. Mix squeezed garlic, chili pepper, ground black pepper and oil.

4. We grease the meat from all sides, except for the skin. Wrap it in a roll.

5. We tie it with culinary tourniquet. Wrap in parchment, then in foil and leave to marinate in the refrigerator for 10-12 hours.

6. Bake at 180 degrees for 3 hours. Then remove the parchment with foil and bake at 220 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

If the piece is smaller, then reduce the amount of baking time. It is very tasty both hot and cold.
