My husband comes from a large family, where he grew up with three brothers.

Their parents divorced when the boys were adults. My husband and I also raised a large family, running a farm and building a house. However, living in such a structure is not without its challenges.

My husband leaves for work early and comes home late, which leaves the cleaning, cooking and childcare to me. In addition, my mother-in-law, who is unable to work due to illness, requires me to care for her. I have to drive her to hospitals in the region, and her other children do not have enough time or money to help her.

I directly feel the lack of support from my mother-in-law, who is not involved in my children's lives. Although I feel offended by her attitude, I try not to cause conflicts so as not to upset my husband, who loves and cares for us very much. I know that many people in the village envy our family life, despite the difficulties we face.

Recently, our family situation has become quite complicated. My brothers-in-law and their wives have started coming over to our house at night, occupying the space that should belong to our family. Although I always try to be hospitable, the situation got out of hand.

While we are at work, guests freely occupy our beds, and the children have to adapt to sleeping in our room. It even happened that we spent the night on a bench in the gazebo, which was a huge discomfort for us.

In the morning, I decided to react. I informed my husband that this was the last time his relatives would force us out of our own bed. I made a mess in the house, woke up my mother-in-law and gave instructions about breakfast for the children. Her outrage and accusations of lack of hospitality only confirmed that it was time for a change.

My mother-in-law was offended when I asked her to cover the cost of the meals her guests ate and to make breakfast for my daughters. She slammed the door when she left our house and hasn't been back since, and her guests have also stopped staying with us.
