Growing up, I admired my parents' loving marriage and enjoyed a close family life with my younger sister, Ula.

As a teenager preparing to begin studying geology, I aspired to be independent, even considering living in a dorm to ease the financial burden on my parents.

However, my sister's sudden illness and need for a blood transfusion revealed the family secret. The discordant groups revealed that I was not my father’s biological child. My mother admitted that she had become pregnant by her previous boyfriend, a fact that had been kept secret from everyone.

My stepfather, despite loving and raising me, suddenly became distant and resentful, withdrawing his financial support and ruining my dreams of college. This revelation strained the relationship between my parents and caused me to reconsider everything I knew about my family.

My mother, burdened by guilt, faced my stepfather’s bitterness, and I struggled with feelings of abandonment. Only Ula supported me, not giving in to the family rift. With an uncertain future ahead of me, I plan to work abroad right after I graduate, hoping to fund my education myself.

Despite the fact that I have a family, I feel isolated, like an orphan, while I have to overcome the consequences of fraud and find my way.
