The presidential campaign has begun. Candidates in the race for the Presidential Palace are competing with each other in ideas on how to attract voters. According to the “Goniec” portal, Rafał Trzaskowski decided to make a film together with Zenek Martyniuk. The recording was supposed to be funny, but it came out rather awkward. This is how the politician explained this move.

Few people expected such a duet. On Thursday, January 16, Rafał Trzaskowski posted a recording on Facebook, in which the politician appeared in the company of Zenek Martyniuk. The recording is quite short and contains a brief exchange between the politician and the disco polo musician.

Trzaskowski asked the disco polo king “How did this happen?”, to which Martyniuk replied “I don't know”. Then the Civic Platform politician asked “will there be a sequel?”. Martyniuk replied “time will tell”.

As Zenek Martyniuk's fans will immediately notice, the scene played out is a reference to the disco polo musician's hit. Where did the idea for such a rather exotic duo come from? This was explained by the person himself in the program “Fakty po Faktach”.

Rafał Trzaskowski revealed where idea

Rafał Trzaskowski in the program “Fakty po Faktach” talked a lot about his main rival Karol Nawrocki. He stated that the candidate supported by Law and Justice is playing with the country's security. However, there were references to the surprising recording in the company of Zenek Martyniuk.

“We were in the same place, in the same city, in Bielsko. It was hard not to meet and I will surprise the editor, despite the fact that we have slightly different musical tastes today, but we listened to Trójka together several dozen years ago, we recorded hits from Trójka together on Grundig and Zenek Martyniuk and I. Zenek Martyniuk is a really nice person” – said Trzaskowski.

Not everyone liked the recording. Some internet users criticized Trzaskowski, calling on him not to go down this path and to withdraw, before it's too late.
