Rafał Trzaskowski got into a fight with a wPolsce24 TV journalist. What was it about?
As the “Goniec” portal reminds us, although we have not yet learned the official date of next year's presidential elections, the candidates for this title have already set off across Poland, fighting for voters' votes. Rafał Trzaskowski met with residents of Zosin in the Lublin region. He also answered questions from journalists, engaging in a verbal skirmish with one of them. The journalist accused the president of a lack of transparency and fear of meeting with people who have different views than him. What does Trzaskowski have to say about this??
Although the official presidential campaign has not even started, the candidates of the largest parties have already set off across Poland to fight for voters' votes. These meetings are accompanied by huge interest from the media, which accompanies the candidates on their journeys around the country. There is no shortage of difficult and emotional questions.
Rafał Trzaskowski found this out for himself when he visited Zosin in the Lublin region and answered journalists' questions. The wPolsce24 television reporter not only asked the president of the capital how he intends to deal with the high prices in stores, but also for information about his meetings with journalists.
Rafał Jarząbek accused Trzaskowski of providing “incomplete” information. He added that “other candidates, such as Karol Nawrocki or Sławomir Mentzen, are able to write where and at what time they will be”.
Journalist wPolsce24, previously associated with TVP, suggested that Trzaskowski was afraid of meeting with journalists who might ask him uncomfortable questions.
“I'm dying of laughter, how you ask questions because it was you who chased me with a camera – because I checked that it was you – during the PiS times, as a PiS political officer. And you remember very well that at that time the attack was practically non-stop and really They accused me of being afraid of a few guys with a camera or people who wanted to talk to me. This is some kind of joke, and a weak, stale one at that,” Trzaskowski replied.
The mayor of the capital also added that if Jarząbek is unable to find information about the place and time of the meetings , that's “his problem.” When the reporter tried to say something, Trzaskowski interrupted him sharply, emphasizing that he was now answering his question. He added that the current high prices were a legacy from his predecessors.
