Recently, Queen Maxima of the Netherlands visited the Aardenburg Military Rehabilitation Center. Wounded Ukrainian servicemen are currently being rehabilitated there.

Queen Maxima spoke with Ukrainian servicemen recovering in Dorne, as well as with their rehabilitation doctors, physiotherapists and prosthetists. This was announced by the official website of the royal family.

The Aardenburg Military Rehabilitation Center accepts military personnel and civilians who need recovery after accidents, surgery, illness or stroke. In particular, Ukrainian military personnel who were seriously injured during the Russian-Ukrainian war are being rehabilitated there.

Queen Maxima watched how during training the patients relearn to stand and walk, do manual labor: wood and metal processing, which is part of the local rehabilitation program, work with speech therapists, occupational therapists and physiotherapists.

The royal family has supported Ukraine in the war since the first days of the war and expresses its sincere condolences. Maxima often expresses her position through symbols in images. Last year, she appeared in the Caribbean in a bright blue loose-fitting embroidered dress with authentic Ukrainian white ornaments.

Let us remind you that recently her husband, King Willem-Alexander visited a training operation in Great Britain, and also talked with instructors and Ukrainian military personnel who are undergoing training here.
